DES MOINES, Iowa —

Today is 4/20, a kind of unofficial marijuana holiday. But it's no holiday for central Iowa law enforcement.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety says extra officers will be out today looking for impaired drivers.

Public Safety advises those who plan to use marijuana today to stay off the roads.

Law enforcement says THC, which is the active chemical in marijuana, can slow reaction times.
