STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The murder case of Staten Island cop Yvonne Wu, who allegedly gunned down a Concord woman in a possible love triangle gone wrong, could be a high-profile test of the new law expanding the state attorney general’s power to investigate deaths involving police officers.

The Attorney General’s Office of Special Investigation (OSI) announced on Friday that it has opened a probe into the death of Staten Islander Jamie Liang, 24.
