Admin phone lines down for law enforcement in Johnson County - Oil City News

CASPER, Wyo. — Administrative phone lines for law enforcement agencies in Wyoming’s Johnson County are down Wednesday morning, September 29, according to an announcement posted to social media.

911 emergency phone services are still working for Johnson County.

“The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and Buffalo Police Department are currently unable to accept phone calls on our administrative line,” the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office posted to Facebook on Wednesday morning. “Services have been contacted to resolve the issue.”

A similar message was posted to the Buffalo Police Department’s Facebook page.

Officials tell Johnson County residents that reports can be made in person at the Johnson County Justice Center at 639 Fort St. in Buffalo, or through 911 for emergencies.
