Applications open for Santa Rosa County Citizens Law Enforcement Academy - WEAR

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. -- It's not too late to register for Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office's Citizens Law Enforcement Academy.

Classes are filling up but interested participants can still fill out applications for the 10 week program.

The Citizens Law Enforcement Academy is created to help give participants a greater understanding of the daily responsibilities of a deputy sheriff.

Interested participants have until May 5 to fill out applications.

The program begins on May 26. Classes will be held from 6-9 a.m.
