Are Older Lawyers Becoming More Welcome in UK Firms? - Law.com International

In City law firms the “finders, minders and grinders” debate has traditionally been tackled using the lockstep approach to remuneration, sometimes modified to favour the somewhat rarer bread of “finders” over those performing the other two roles. But as long as you were playing your own particular role and seen to be pulling your weight, as a partner in one of these firms you could take it for granted that you would progress up the equity ladder or at least hold your own.
