Assemblyman Kevin Cahill expects N.Y. Legislature action on expanding bottle bill law - The Daily Freeman

KINGSTON, N.Y. — A state legislator from Kingston expects some kind of decision by the full legislature this session on expanding the bottle bill law.

Assemblyman Kevin Cahill, D-Kingston, who has proposed raising the returnable bottle deposit to 10 cents, said the measure was removed from the state budget.
