Ballard Spahr Brings FOIA Suit on Behalf of NYU Law-Based Publication for Jan. 6 Riot Records | New York Law Journal - Law.com

Ballard Spahr filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit Friday in New York Southern District Court seeking records from the Department of Homeland Security related to the January 6 Capitol riots. The suit was brought on behalf of Ryan Goodman, co-editor-in-chief of ‘Just Security,’ an online publication focused on national security law and policy and based out of New York University School of Law. The case is 1:21-cv-07813, Goodman v. Department of Homeland Security.
