Blue Alert issued for Florida man wanted for injuring law enforcement - WEAR

(WEAR) -- A Florida Blue Alert has been issued Tuesday night for a suspect last seen in Perry, Florida.

Gregory Miedema, 33, was last seen on US 19 near Deer Run Road.

Miedema was last seen wearing a dark colored tank top and traveling in a 2000 gold Chrysler Sebring.

The Florida tag on the vehicle reads Y78TKU.

The vehicle also has a convertible top, according to FDLE.

A Blue Alert is issued when a member of law enforcement was injured or killed in the line of duty by someone who could still pose a threat to the community.
