Lorain County sheriff’s deputies soon will join the ranks of many law enforcement agencies across the country and will wear body cameras, which can protect the officers and the public.

At its April 20 meeting, Lorain County commissioners unanimously approved a resolution allocating $302,807 for the purchase of 75 Pro-Vision BodyCam 4s with a service plan that includes cloud storage.
