BRUNSWICK, Ohio -- City Council is considering legislation to align local ordinances with a new state law, effective June 13, making it legal to carry a concealed weapon without a permit.

“The essence of this change (is) you no longer need a concealed carry permit if you are a ‘qualified adult’,” Police Chief Brian Ohlin said of the passage of Senate Bill 215.
