Cleveland Power of Sport Summit runs through Feb. 20

The Cleveland Power of Sport Summit at the Cleveland Metropolitan Conference Center in downtown Cleveland focused on equity and inclusion in sports. Some of the speakers included Cleveland Cavaliers head coach J.B. Bickerstaff, Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb, and others who spoke not only about inclusion in sports, but inclusion in life as well. CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cavaliers coach J.B. Bickerstaff wants Clevelanders and local law enforcement to understand the importance of keeping an open mind and showing empathy.

Bickerstaff was one of five panelists in a discussion Friday afternoon called “Conversations for Change” at the Cleveland Power of Sport Summit. The summit, held at the Cleveland Metropolitan Conference Center, is one of the events happening during NBA All-Star Weekend and aims to highlight diversity, equity and inclusion in sports.
