Some of the largest law firms in Cincinnati have named new partners for 2022.
Graydon named two new partners practicing out of its downtown office: Theresa Nelson and John Kirk.

Nelson is chair of Graydon's labor and employment group and focuses her practice on representing clients in complex labor and employment, commercial and general civil litigation. She has represented clients in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels.
Nelson earned her J.D. at the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a bachelor's from Ohio University.

Kirk is chair of Graydon's employee benefits and executive compensation group and practices exclusively in that field. He works with clients to design, implement and administer retirement, pension, health and welfare benefits plans.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and a bachelor's in accounting from Georgetown College.

Calfee, Halter & Griswold named Patrick Hayes partner in its Cincinnati office. Hayes leads the firm's investment management practice where he represents and supports advisers in the development and administration of compliance programs. He conducts due diligence and monitors activities of sub-advisers, third-party managers and service providers. Hayes also assists with matters before the Securities & Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Department of Justice, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and North American Securities Administrators Association.
Hayes earned his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.

Blank Rome brought on David Kronenberg as an energy finance partner in its finance, restructuring and bankruptcy practice. He will practice out of the law firm's Cincinnati and Washington, D.C., offices.
Kronenberg provides commodity hedge providers, pipeline operators, oil and gas producers, retail energy providers, power plant operators and renewable energy providers with services including structuring and negotiation of physical and financial commodities transactions, structuring and analysis of secured energy transactions and the use or trading of renewable energy credits and carbon allowances.
Kronenberg earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and bachelor's from Washington University in St. Louis.

Aronoff Rosen & Hunt named Daniel Perry partner in January. Perry focuses his practice on estate planning, estate administration, estate tax planning, income tax planning, intergenerational asset transfer and asset protection planning, business law, corporate law and securities law.
Perry earned his J.D. from the Dayton School of Law, a bachelor's in history and English from Purdue University and associate's degree in liberal arts from Holy Cross College.
