BATAVIA — The Town Board may have the final draft for a proposed, updated solar law later this spring as the Solar Committee goes over details during a meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Town Hall.

“I believe there will be some final revisions before we pass a proposal to the Town Board for final approval,” Town Board member and Solar Committee Chairman Chad Zambito said at the Town Board’s last meeting last week.

The main revisions are to setback requirements for future solar energy projects. Zambito said each committee meeting has drawn a few people and that Tuesday’s meeting may also do so.
