Shant H. Chalian, formerly of Robinson & Cole, has joined Day Pitney as counsel in the firm’s investment management and private funds practice, resident in its Stamford office.

“Shant has established a highly successful and diverse legal practice, including extensive corporate, mergers and acquisitions and securities knowledge. With his vast experience and contacts in the investment management industry, Shant is constantly attuned to the current market terms in these areas,” said Peter J. Bilfield, co-chair of the firm’s investment management and private funds practice group.
