CT Class Action Alleges Sunscreen Products Contain Carcinogen | Connecticut Law Tribune - Law.com

Edgewell Personal Care, the owner of brands including Schick, Playtex and Hawaiian Tropic and Sun Pharmaceuticals, was hit with a consumer class action Monday in Connecticut District Court. The complaint, brought by Scott + Scott, Levin Sedran & Berman and the Sulzer Law Group, claims that the defendants’ sunscreen products contain the carcinogen Benzene. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.

The case is 3:21-cv-01579, Chabla et al v. Edgewell Personal Care Brands, LLC et al.
