ROSEBURG, Ore. — The name of Deputy Allen Burdic was inscribed Saturday on the Douglas County Law Enforcement Memorial Wall on the front lawn of the Douglas County Courthouse.

A Douglas County Honor Guard member stood by while his name was forever etched into the memorial.

We will never let the lapse of time diminish his sacrifice or memory.
We would like to thank Touchstone Engraving and Tamara Howell for helping us to carry out this mission to honor Deputy Burdic and his family.
Also, a special thanks to Tristan Case, who made the memorial wall a possibility through his Eagle Scout Project in 2016.
