TALLAHASSEE — Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed into law a bill that will keep secret the names of applicants who want to become presidents of state colleges and universities during the initial stages of the search.
The measure (SB 520), signed Tuesday, creates a public-records exemption for identifying information about applicants for the leadership posts. Information about finalists will be released near the end of the search process.
