Detroit pensioners won't seek to discipline law firm in Dan Gilbert flap - Detroit Free Press

The Detroit pension fund that abruptly withdrew this month as lead plaintiff in a shareholder lawsuit accusing businessman Dan Gilbert of insider trading said Thursday that it likely won't seek disciplinary action against the out-of-state law firm it claims filed the suit without authorization.

The Detroit Police and Fire Retirement System had been the lead of two plaintiffs in the shareholder lawsuit against Gilbert and Gilbert's Detroit-based Rocket Companies that was filed last month in Delaware Chancery Court, although not unsealed until Dec. 3.
