DEVELOPING: Law Enforcement Conducting Unknown Type of Investigation in Tyre - Finger Lakes Daily News

Police are not releasing information yet, but the Seneca County Sheriff’s Department is investigating what they say was “an incident that occurred at a business in the Town of Tyre.”

Police say due to the sensitivity of the investigation, details cannot be released at this time.

In a news release Tuesday night, the sheriff’s department said there is “ no active threat to the community.”

We do know that first responders were called out early Tuesday morning for the report of fires set inside the new Love’s Travel Center.
