Douglas County Deputy Allen Burdic's name inscribed on Law Enforcement Memorial - KVAL

SALEM, Ore. — On Monday, Douglas County Deputy Allen Burdic's name was inscribed on the Law Enforcement Memorial wall in Salem at the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said on social media.

An Honor Guard member from DCSO stood watch while his name was added.

Deputy Burdic passed away at his home on March 11, 2021 from complications of the injuries he sustained in the line of duty working for the Douglas County Sheriff's Office in 1980, the sheriff's office said.

Carl L. Frazier of the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, EOW 10/9/1979 and John R. Burright of the Oregon State Police, EOW 5/4/21
