Rochester, N.Y. — East High School students got some insight into careers in law enforcement Tuesday in a unique way.

Deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office and staff from Tocsin Media & Marketing visited after school.

The students and deputies had some fun playing video games.

"It gives them an opportunity to ask questions in a more laid-back social setting, and they get to have fun with us and they can see that other side of just what they see in uniform," Deputy Amanda Star said.

Besides some fun competition, Star says the event shows students how much of a role community involvement plays in police work.
