ERIC BERG RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION AS WASHINGTON CO. COURT AT LAW JUDGE - kwhi.com

Berg announced in a release that he plans to run in the Republican Primary.

Berg was appointed interim court at law judge by Washington County Commissioners in 2016, after the retirement of former judge Matthew Reue. He was elected in 2018.

Berg said he strives as a judge to apply the law fairly, sensibly and consistently.

Prior to serving as judge in the county court at law, Berg served as both assistant county attorney and first assistant district attorney.

Berg said he finds the position both challenging and rewarding.

In his release, Berg said he aspires to “give people a court in which they can have pride and confidence.”

Berg has not drawn an opponent thus far for the post.
