Ex-Managing Partner of NJ Law Firm Gets 14-Month Sentence for Tax Evasion | New Jersey Law Journal - Law.com
A Cumberland County attorney who admitted failing to pay more than $250,000 in taxes on income generated from his law firm has been sentenced to 14 months in prison for tax evasion, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey.
Douglas Long, 55, of Upper Deerfield, previously pleaded guilty by videoconference before U.S. District Judge Noel Hillman to an information charging him with one count of federal income tax evasion. Hillman sentenced Long Tuesday in Camden court.
