Rep. Lee Chatfield, R-Levering, served three two-year terms in the Michigan House from 2015 until the end of 2020, including a stint as speaker in 2019-20.

Former Michigan House Speaker Lee Chatfield's sister-in-law has filed a criminal complaint against Chatfield alleging he sexually assaulted her multiple times over 12 years, starting when she was a teenager until last summer, her lawyer said Thursday.
