Syracuse, NY -- Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick called it an execution, with two of four gunshots hitting the unarmed victim in the back.

Former Cicero schoolteacher James Ball called it self defense, saying that he killed his brother-in-law, Christopher Ross, after a bloody fight inside Ball’s home in Clay on July 4, 2017.
