Family Law Day set April 29 in Fort Collins - Loveland Reporter-Herald

People representing themselves in family law cases in Larimer County can get education and consult with an attorney, free of charge, during a Family Law Day event being offered in person and via videoconference on Friday, April 29.

Larimer County Access to Justice Committee will present the event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Larimer County Justice Center, 201 La Porte Ave., in Fort Collins.

People can learn about starting their own divorce or custody cases, modifying or enforcing parenting-time orders, representing themselves in court and financial disclosures, get parenting plan guidance, learn about dependency and neglect cases and hear from child-related experts such as child and family investigators.

Parenting class vouchers will be offered.

Ask-a-Lawyer appointments are available from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m.
