Felon leads law enforcement on a pursuit before being found in a berry patch - KRCR

ANDERSON, Calif. — Saturday night, just before 10 pm, multiple law enforcement agencies were led on a pursuit after a truck Anderson PD attempted to pull over failed to stop.
Officers noticed the driver -identified as 42-year-old Krayton Lee Bodner, of Shasta Lake- making several vehicle code violations. Police attempted to pull him over, but Bodner continued going; eventually running his truck through a gate at the West end of First Street. He then got out of the truck and began running on foot.

With the help of Shasta County Sheriff's K9 'Fritz', officers were able to track Bodner to the area of Diamond street and the A.C.I.D Canal. The CHP Northern Division's helicopter was then able to locate him hiding in a large berry patch along the canal.
Once surrounded, Bodner made his way out of the berry patch and was arrested without further incident.
Bodner was on felony probation and had an outstanding felony warrant for probation violation. He was booked into the Shasta County Jail on several charges including felony evading a peace officer.
