Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Lee County deputies searching for infant - Wink News

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help locating a 2-month-old child. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a Florida Missing Child Alert as well.

According to LCSO, 2-month-old Matthew Smith was last seen at an Airbnb in North Fort Myers. This is in the 13000 block of Fern Trail Drive. The Airbnb is located in the Willow Creek Community.

Matthew has been missing since August 16, according to FDLE. He was last seen with his parents, Monica Myers, 25, and Ben Smith Jr., 54, and, at the time, Smith was only one week old.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of the infant, Smith, or Myers you are being asked to call the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 239-477-1000.
