Fortuna Man Arrested in Nebraska With 113 Pounds of Marijuana, Says Law Enforcement – Redheaded Blackbelt - Redheaded Blackbelt

Deputies with the Seward County, Nebraska Sheriff’s Office arrested Leonel Santos, age 32 of Fortuna and Yerizal Hernandez, age 31 of Hermiston, OR on Hwy I-80 with approximately 113 pounds of “high-grade marijuana,” according to a press release by law enforcement.

The two were charged with possession of more than one pound of marijuana, possession with intent to deliver and no drug tax stamp. The Seward County Sheriff’s Department estimated the street value of the marijuana to be about $339,000. That works out to about $3000 per pound.

If law enforcement is right, those $400 California pounds are worth a heck of lot more in Nebraska.
