GAIN event a chance to interact with local law enforcement | News Releases | City Of Yuma, AZ - yumaaz.gov

Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods (GAIN), an event held by police agencies statewide to join forces and promote awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity, will return 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 9 in the lot adjacent to Target, 1450 Yuma Palms Parkway.

Held in conjunction with Crime Prevention Month in October, GAIN allows area law enforcement, military, fire and rescue agencies to bring some of their equipment to display to the public.

Other local organizations and nonprofits will also be present, providing the public an opportunity to interact with these organizations and discuss a variety of topics such as safety programs, careers and public safety issues.

GAIN is free to attend. Target and other local businesses will provide a limited supply of complimentary hotdogs, chips, water and sodas.
