Gov. Cox to sign law enforcement, mental health, education bills - KUTV 2News
SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Gov. Spencer Cox plans to sign law enforcement, mental health and education bills Tuesday.
A ceremonial signing for law enforcement and mental health bills is expected to be held at 1:30 p.m. on the south steps of the Utah State Capitol building.

A ceremonial signing for education bills will be held at Hillcrest Junior High School in Murray.
During the legislative session, lawmakers approved a $25 billion budget which included a notable increase for public education funding.
“Record education funding,” said Senate President Stuart Adams (R-Layton). “Nine percent overall funding for education. That’s phenomenal.”
The budget was the largest ever, driven by the strong economy and additional spending from Washington, D.C.
