Grant County Law Enforcement in Standoff with Felony Suspect North of George – NewsRadio 560 KPQ - KPQ

Law enforcement is locking down an area north of George in an attempt to apprehend a suspect in multiple recent felonies.

Grant County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Kyle Foreman said the operation is happening at a house near Road 2 Northwest and State Route 283.

“Anyone in that area is asked to shelter in place.” explained Foreman, “That means stay inside your home, lock the doors, stay near the center of your house and wait for a proven notification to let you know that the situation is under control.”

The warrant is being served by the Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team and Grant County Sheriff’s deputies.
