Grant County law enforcement reports seizing 32 pounds of meth and 25,000 fentanyl pills - NCWLIFE News
Grant County law enforcement reported seizing about 32 pounds of methamphetamine, 25,000 fentanyl pills and $50,000 in cash in a raid on a Mattawa home last Thursday.
The county’s Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET) served a search warrant at 202 N. Boundary Ave. and reported finding the drugs with an estimated street value of more than $2 million, said Deputy Kyle Foreman of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Rigoberto Tapia, 42, was arrested for possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver. In addition, the charges are eligible for enhancement because the home was within 1,000 feet of Wahluke High School.
He was lodged in the Grant County Jail but has since been releases, probably on bond, the sheriff’s office said.
INET includes detectives from Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Quincy Police, Ephrata Police and the Washington State Patrol.
