It’s been seven years since a Ball Ground attorney voluntarily gave up his license to practice law after being found guilty on federal charges of conspiracy, mail fraud and selling unregistered securities.

Now Gregory Bartko wants another shot at a career in law, but the state Supreme Court has agreed with the Georgia Board to Determine Fitness of Bar Applicants that the former attorney is not fit for practice.
