Henderson County Major Frank Stout retires after 40 years in law enforcement - WLOS

HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A veteran member of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is hanging up his badge.
Major Frank Stout is retiring after a long career in law enforcement.
“It’s bittersweet," Stout said during his retirement party on Tuesday. "I will tell you, I’m a very blessed man to have made it to the end after 40 years of things I’ve seen and been involved with and some of the folks that we’ve lost. It’s been a great career. I’m grateful.”
Stout served 10 years with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.
Prior to that, he served 30 years with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
We wish him all the best!
