Outside of COVID-19 and the effects it has had on the world and office returns, the most consistent through line of the year has been the frantic war for talent in Big Law. While money was a major lever, firms tried or considered all sorts of other things to give them an edge.
Their tactics ranged from offering free training at Ivy-League schools to removing associate biography pages from their websites. Here are some of the highlights.
