Increased law enforcement presence at PCM High School over social media threat - KCCI Des Moines
MONROE, Iowa —
Some high school students in Jasper County will see law enforcement on campus Wednesday after an online threat.
Local law enforcement contacted the Prairie City Monroe School District on Wednesday morning about a threat that was made on social media.
The district also said authorities told them the threat is not credible, but out of an abundance of caution, there will be officers outside and in the high school surrounding the lunch hour.
Anyone with questions can call 515-994-8222.
