Indonesian court orders govt to amend jobs creation law - Reuters
JAKARTA, Nov 25 (Reuters) - Indonesia's Constitutional Court has ordered the government to amend parts of the controversial job creation law within two years, a panel of judges ruled on Thursday.
The legislation, which was passed last year, sparked widespread protest across Indonesia over claims it undermined worker rights and weakened environmental protections. The judges said if the changes were not made in two years, the legislation would be deemed unconstitutional.
