Jeremy Sisto Wants To Play Dual Roles In A FBI & Law & Order Crossover - Screen Rant
Jeremy Sisto is expressing his interest in an FBI and Law & Order crossover event, where he could get to play dual roles. The actor portrayed Detective Cyrus Lupo on NBC's long-running and recently revived Law & Order for three seasons from 2008 to 2010. Sisto currently stars in the CBS crime drama series, FBI, which first premiered in 2018. FBI tracks the inner workings of the Bureau's New York office, bringing to bear all of its skills, intellect, and technological expertise on major cases in order to keep the state, as well as the country, safe. Sisto plays Jubal Valentine, FBI Assistant Special Agent-In-Charge, and stars alongside a cast that includes Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, John Boyd, and fellow Law & Order alum, Alana de la Garza.
Created and executive produced by Dick Wolf, responsible for both the Law & Order and Chicago franchises, FBI stemmed off into additional series beginning with 2020's FBI: Most Wanted. As a whole, FBI has appealed to fans of Wolf's projects, with reviews noting its ability to fit in with the procedural structure and differentiate itself by carrying a darker tone. Fans of Wolf's series on NBC are familiar with crossover episodes establishing their connections, most notably the crossover between Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and the Chicago shows. However, FBI was previously able to tie into Wolf's larger universe by way of its season 2 finale, which featured an appearance from Chicago P.D. star, Tracy Spiridakos.

Give Me My Remote recently reported that Sisto has an idea for a potential crossover event involving FBI and Law & Order. The actor explained that Wolf has mentioned a crossover in the past, but that the news of a Law & Order season 21 suggested new possibilities. Sisto's idea involves playing dual roles and having both of his characters meet in a bathroom. Read Sisto's quote regarding how a crossover could play out below:
"That’d be awesome. I should play both [of my] characters! That would be something…I think it would be great if there was this really weird scene where Jubal was going into the restroom, and he looked up and at the next urinal it was Cyrus and we have some strange scene: ‘Hey, don’t I know you from somewhere?’ I don’t know why we have to be in the men’s room—it just felt like a appropriate place for an absurd moment."
With FBI's newest spin-off, FBI: International, featuring crossovers of its own within its respective franchise, now could be the right time to incorporate the show into Wolf's extensive television universe. Though it airs on CBS, Tracy Spiridakos' appearance allows for the series to continue interconnecting with the Chicago and Law & Order franchises. FBI's showrunner, Rick Eid, who executive produces FBI: International and previously ran Chicago P.D. and Law & Order: SVU, is currently set to run the revival of Law & Order as well. That news indicates it is more than possible for fans of these franchises to get additional crossover events.
The CBS series, having two of its stars descend from the world of Law & Order, could potentially expand its own franchise by taking part in future crossover episodes. Fans enjoy Sisto's performance as Jubal Valentine and watching the actor interact with himself in a FBI and Law & Order crossover event could make for some very entertaining television. With FBI season 4 already underway, and the Law & Order revival set to air in February, viewers will just have to wait and see if Sisto's strange idea for FBI actuallycomes to fruition.
