Judge Orders NYT to Surrender Project Veritas Legal Memos | New York Law Journal - Law.com

A Westchester judge has maintained his order preventing the New York Times from publishing memos that an attorney prepared for the conservative activist group Project Veritas, finding that the materials were protected by attorney-client privilege.
State Supreme Court Justice Charles Wood also said in the 28-page decision, made public on Christmas Eve, that the Times must hand over memos that outside counsel Benjamin Barr of Barr & Klein provided to Project Veritas as well as destroy copies in its possession and delete copies from its servers.
