Kane County State's Attorney appointed to commission on elder law - WspyNews

Kane County State's Attorney Jamie Mosser is being appointed to serve on the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Elder Law.

The commission is meant to look into how state courts can serve the needs of the elderly in Illinois. A new release says that the increasing volume of illegal and fraudulent activities directed at the elderly confirm the need of the commission.

State's Attorney Mosser says that protecting the most vulnerable individuals among us has been a priority for her. Mosser says it's important that laws and practices remain up to date so that vulnerable citizens are protected from exploitation.
