KENT, Ohio – Kent State University students who want to earn a law degree can now do so in six years instead of seven thanks to a new partnership between the university and Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
After earning credits equivalent to three full-time years of study, Kent State students in the program will be eligible for admission to the CSU Cleveland-Marshall College of Law for completion of the Juris Doctor degree. Students in the program will be awarded a bachelor’s degree by Kent State after successfully completing the first-year law school curriculum at CSU Cleveland-Marshall. After that, students will complete the final two years of the law school curriculum to complete their Juris Doctor degree.
