Law enforcement around Pa. take to social media to express sadness after Lebanon shooting - PennLive

Law enforcement from around central Pennsylvania mourned together Thursday night after a Lebanon City police officer was killed and two others were injured in a shooting.
Lebanon City Mayor Sherry Capello said the officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of Forest Street at 3:30 p.m.
About an hour later, the officers were calling for help because a shooting had broken out and three were hit.
Capello said one of the surviving officers is in critical condition but is stable, while the other is stable.
Lebanon City Police Chief Todd Breiner said the suspect in the domestic is also dead.
As news spread of the loss of the officer, law enforcement officials around the region began sharing condolences.
Attorney General Josh Shaprio called the shooting a “sobering reminder of the dangers our brave men and women in uniform face day after day.”
Lebanon County District Attorney Pier Hess Graf, whose office is investigating the shooting, said a press conference will happen at a later time. She said the office’s focus remains on the investigation and respecting the families affected.
The Lancaster District Attorney’s office shared thoughts and prayers with the officers, their families and the Lebanon County law enforcement community.
