FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Many calls, emails, and social media messages to FOX 26 started coming in Thursday morning about large groups of law enforcement being seen around the valley.

The Fresno Police Department told us it is involved in a multi-agency warrant sweep taking place Thursday around the Central Valley.

Officials would not provide any specific details but said hundreds of law enforcement personnel are working on the operation.

A news conference will take place on Friday to provide information about the focus and results of the sweep.
