Law enforcement in stand-off in Dodge Center with armed man - PostBulletin.com
A shelter-in-place order is in effect in Dodge Center, and law enforcement have evacuated the neighborhood around the man's home. The Triton School District is in a "soft lockdown" as a result of the incident. No injuries have been reported.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the 500 block of 3rd Ave. NW in Dodge Center at 11:19 a.m. because of reports of a domestic incident taking place. A 65-year-old man was reportedly having a "breakdown" and became upset with his family members.

Rose said the man choked one of his family members before all members were able to escape the home. A family member told police that they saw the man with a rifle and that he said he would "go after" anyone who came to the home.
At 12:40, the man came out the door and ordered law enforcement to turn off their lights or sirens, and threatened to shoot anybody who approached before he returned back into the home. Rose said law enforcement hasn't had contact with him since then. Rose also said there are no phones in the home.
Rose is asking the public to stay clear of the Highway Street (old U.S. Highway 14) area. Rose said they are unaware of the man's history, but that deputies have responded and spoken to the man before. A crisis negotiation team is on the scene.
The Minnesota State Patrol, Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, Kasson Police Department, Dodge Center Fire Department and Ambulance are assisting with the incident.
This is a developing story. More information will be added when made available.
