Law enforcement investigates two crashes overnight - KETV Omaha
OMAHA, Neb. —
Law enforcement is investigating two crashes from overnight.
First law enforcement was called to 192nd and Harrison streets for a multiple-vehicle crash. It happened around 10 p.m. Saturday.
Three people were taken to a hospital. Officials report two people have serious injuries and one is suffering critical injuries.
That investigation is still ongoing.
Then in Bellevue around 2:20 a.m. Sergeant Sean Vest responded to a call near one of the gates at Offutt Air Force Base.
Vest tweeted a photo showing the scene. A pickup truck appeared to have smashed into water-filled roadblocks and a concrete barrier.
"When you are drinking and driving and accidentally run into an Air Force Base and flee the area on foot…#WeWillBeInTouch #BadDescision," Vest tweeted.
Shortly after Vest tweeted the driver came back for his truck.
"Original driver returned to the scene in a car driven by a friend who was also intoxicated. Both drivers are now under arrest for suspicion of DUI. These were in the console of the second vehicle. Probably not the best game to play before driving," Vest tweeted.
