Law enforcement officer fatally shot, suspect wounded at Sharpstown shopping mall - Houston Chronicle

A law enforcement officer was fatally shot and a suspect was wounded Wednesday afternoon at the PlazAmericas shopping mall in Sharpstown, authorities said.

Officers responded around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday to an officer-involved shooting on the 7500 block of Bellaire Boulevard, according to a statement from the Houston Police Department.
