Law enforcement on scene at North Charleston apartment complex - WCBD News 2

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) on Tuesday night responded to an incident at a North Charleston apartment complex.

Multiple units were on scene at Pinecrest Apartments as of 9:07 p.m. An area of the complex was blocked off with yellow police tape.

The North Charleston Forensics Unit arrived on scene shortly after 11:00 p.m.

The Charleston County coroner was on scene as well.

News 2 reached out to NCPD for more information. We were provided the following statement as of 11:10 p.m. Tuesday:

“NCPD investigators are working a scene at Pinecrest Apartments. Due to the complexity of the situation we will release more information on Wednesday morning. We will have no further comment until then. Thank you for your patience.”
