From noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, local authorities will be staged along US 35, I-75, Salem Road and Turner Road.

Police and troopers previously told News Center 7 that some of the locations of the concentrated enforcement spots were based on a study of crashes, speeding reports and OVI driver reports.

Law enforcement will be focusing on violations, including reckless driving, impaired driving and speeding.

Saturday’s detail concludes a series of three enforcement days. Previously, law enforcement patrolled as part of the initiative on Nov. 18 and Nov. 24.
