Law enforcement pursuit in Starkville, Oktibbeha County leads to arrest - WTVA

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — Starkville police arrested a driver accused of leading officers on a chase inside and outside the city.

Lavontraon Smith, 31, is charged with multiple offenses, including felony fleeing, possession of a weapon by a felon and driving under the influence.

The pursuit happened overnight early Saturday.

Sergeant Brandon Lovelady said it started in the city, went into Oktibbeha County and ended at some apartments in the city on Louisville Street.
